Fettucine with Peas &Broccoli

This dish is very quick to make and is very delicious. It is rich as it contains fresh cream/whipping cream. For those who want to avoid cream, this dish is also very tasty just saute´d in olive oil.

The addition of peas & broccoli makes this dish nutritious as well.

Delicious Broccoli & Peas with Fettuccine


  1. 8 oz. fettuccine pasta
  2. Approximately 4 cups broccoli heads
  3. 2 tsps. crushed garlic
  4. 4 tblsp. olive oil
  5. salt to taste
  6. 1 cup frozen peas


  1. Wash broccoli. Use hands to run water on heads of broccoli & gently rub
  2. Remove outer layer of stems which may be used as well. Otherwise reserve for another use
  3. Boil pasta, add salt & a tsp. olive oil
  4. Remove pasta while it is still al dente. Keep aside
  5. Heat olive oil. Add all vegetables & stir fry on high heat for about 5 min.
  6. Add garlic & salt. Keep aside
  7. Add Fettuccine to the stir-fried vegetables. Then pour cream sauce. Add more Parmesan cheese. The noodles will soon absorb the cream. At that time the dish is ready to be eaten.
  8. Taste: adjust spices & salt. Serve with a green salad or just sliced cucumbers


Alfredo Sauce

  1. 2 cups heavy whipping cream/fresh cream
  2. ½ tsp.ground nutmeg
  3. 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  4. 1 tsp. crushed black pepper
  5. ½ tsp. salt
  6. 2 tblsp. butter


  • Melt butter on medium heat in pot on stove
  • Add cream & stir. Keep on low-med. heat settings. Avoid cream sticking to pot. When it comes to the boil add nutmeg & ½ cup Parmesan cheese. Remove from heat
  • Mix thoroughly. Add salt & pepper & set aside
